The Harvest Tree used to be the life of Waffle Island. But one day it started to get weaker and weaker and soon died. Some say it was because it was old, others, that it was because people started disrespecting it by throwing trash at it and carving their names in it. Soon after, the rainbows started to disappear along with the Harvest Sprites. Now it's your turn to save them.
Harvest Sprites are tiny little fairies. It is said only kids can see them, but if you follow instructions, your character will be able to find them and thus, save the Harvest tree. When you gain at least 1,000 gold, the mayor will come to your house and take you to his house. There he will tell you about the Harvest Goddess. During this talk, the mayor will mention a quilt and say that he will look for it. You should keep selling and growing on your farm.
Later on, the mayor will come again and say he found the left half of the quilt. He will then give it to you and ask you to keep looking for the right half. If you try to talk to Gill before you have upgraded your house to level 2, he won't tell you anything regarding the quilt.
Once you have upgraded, talk to Gill again and he will tell you about the quilt. Gill then gets an idea and tells you to talk to Dale. If you talk to Dale, he will tell you about the quilt, too. He then starts to talk about the clock tower in Town Square - It's broken and hasn't been fixed in 10 years. Dale then tells you to talk to the Mayor, to see if he can fix it. Talk to the Mayor in his house - he will give you the key to the clock tower.
Go to fix the clock and you will find the left half of the quilt and Alan's(one of the sprites) memo, saying that you have to water the flowers under the special trees. If you do so, you will get rainbow recipes. Complete these recipes and you can save the island and the Harvest Goddess. By doing this you can get more people to move into your village, and more stores like the tailor, and people like Chase will move in.
